Remote Work Stipend

A recurring or one-off allowance to cover a remote employee's home-office, internet or coworking costs.

A remote work stipend is money the employer gives you to cover the costs of working from home — a desk and chair, a laptop, monthly internet, or a coworking membership. It may be a one-time home-office budget or a recurring monthly amount.

Stipends are a good signal that a company takes remote work seriously. Factor them into the total value of an offer alongside salary and time off.
