Behavioral Interview
A behavioral interview uses questions like "tell me about a time you handled a conflict" to learn how you have actually behaved, on the theory that past behaviour predicts future performance. Answers work best in the STAR shape: Situation, Task, Action, Result.
For remote roles, expect prompts about self-direction, async communication and handling ambiguity. Prepare a few concrete stories in advance — our interview tips guide shows how.
