A recruiter runs the hiring process end to end — writing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, screening them, coordinating interviews, and helping close offers. They balance the needs of hiring managers with a great candidate experience, often across many roles at once.
Recruiting is communication- and tool-driven, and remote recruiting for distributed teams is now standard. Familiarity with an ATS and strong people skills are essential.
